A Hazardous Substances License is an official permit that allows a person or company to import, store, transport, use, or dispose of dangerous chemicals or materials that could harm people, animals, or the environment if not handled properly.
Hazardous Substances License Requirements
➢ Completed HS1 Form (Downloadable at www.ema.co.zw)
➢ Certificate of Incorporation
➢ CR14
➢ National ID
➢ Trading license
➢ Tax clearance certificate (applicable to new applicants)
➢ VAT certificate when applicable
➢ For renewal old license and fee
➢ License fee (Green class $374,33USD)
(Amber class $567,53USD)
(Red class $736,58USD)
The figures are inclusive of VAT and 5% admin fee
NB: Please note that inspection should be conducted by the District Environmental
Officer before license application for new applicants and its for free.
